"Tullythwaite" at 30 East Road was built by Donovan and Elda (Kirkby) Berry as per the comment (Oct 2022) from her son Glynn Berry:
“We lived at a “Tullythwaite”, 30 East Road, Southern Rhodesia till moving to Bulawayo in 1956. My parents built the house. They moved in in 39 I believe. Sister Dee born 41. She (Elda Kirkby) stayed with aunts at Tullythwaite in the UK as a kid. Her dad (William Cape Kirkby) died in the 1WW. Her Mum died of flu together with 6yr old brother. ”
