This is a searchable website of the family Kirkby lineage descending to the Berry family. Citations are provided where we have them, and any research commentary is added in to the individuals notes. While research is ongoing there will be weekly updates (any changes will be listed at the bottom of this page). The best way to navigate is to open the below image in a seperate browser tab for reference (just click on it). Then click the link at the top of this page to return to the main site, and navigate through it using the "Individuals" tab. Currently the most info will be found if you begin with Glynn Berry and click the "ancestors" flow chart under his name to follow the tree up through the "Kirkby" name to those at the top of the tree. There are also notes in the residential properties that tie the Kirkby stories together (See bottom of this page for notification of updates). This research began in Oct 2022 from documents provided and previously researched by Donovan Spencer Berry in the 1960s and 1970s. It's a slow process of researching and compiling the info into something that makes sense, but has begun with the males of the line going from Glynn Berry to Thomas Kirkby and Elizabeth Maskew currently in the top position circa 1690s. Building the story will fan out from there as time & research permits.
