        "St.Ann's Royal Asylum, Streatham Hill, was erected in 1826 as 'St Anne's Society School'. It later became the 'Royal Asylum of St Anne's Society' and was also run as 'St Pancras Parish Auxiliary Workhouse' in the latter part of the 19th century and the begining of the 20th. The building was pulled down and replaced by Pullman Court, a large residential complex, in c1938." - Lambeth landmark information
